Where will the conference be held?

The 2021 World Credit Union Conference will be hosted virtually. 

Who should attend the 2021 World Credit Union Conference?
The World Credit Union Conference is designed for credit union leaders from around the globe including credit union staff, board of directors, supervisory committee members and international regulators.
Am I a World Council Member?
If your credit union is affiliated with any of our members here, then you are a member of World Council.
Am I a part of a developed or emerging credit union movement?

The developing country movement discount does not apply to the following countries:

  • Australia
  • Brazil
  • Canada
  • Ireland
  • Poland
  • United States
Where can I find information on sessions and speakers?
Information on sessions and speakers will be posted on this website as they become available.
 

Scholarships

Does World Council provide scholarships to attend the conference?
Currently, World Council does not offer scholarships to the 2021 World Credit Union Conference. However, we do provide a discount on registration rates for those who qualify.
What is the yearly World Council Scholarship Program for attendees 40 years or younger?

World Council’s Young Credit Union Professionals (WYCUP) program connects young professionals around the world through credit unions and financial cooperatives: expanding opportunities to engage with international peers, enriching the professional journey with a global vision and inspiring young people to be part of the solution. WYCUP includes an annual scholarship program designed to raise the voice of the next generation of leaders and empower youth to achieve positive impact on our global credit union community.  

 

The WYCUP Scholarship will be awarded during the 2021 World Credit Union Conference and includes an all-expense-paid trip to the World Credit Union Conference in 2022. To learn more please click here.

One discount is valid per registration. 
Discounts are not valid on Non-Member Registration type.

Payment can be made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), check or wire transfer. 
What if I need to cancel or send someone else in my place?
Registrations cancelled on or before 6 July 2021 are subject to a $50 USD cancellation fee. Registration fees are non-refundable after 6 July 2021. Cancellations and refund requests must be requested in writing to Kassandra Schroeder at kschroeder@woccu.org. Refunds are not provided for attendees who do not attend the conference as the conference is still available On-Demand.

Substitutions are accepted until 6 July 2021, after which time attendees are invited into the Virtual Environment.
